Diageo Runcorn - Keg Racker Tank Farm

ABM were commissioned to Design and Install a new BBT Tank Farm to supply a new Keg Racking Line which was installed at Diageo Packaging facility in Runcorn as part of their plans to close the Park Royal Brewery in London.

This work involved the Design of the new Tank Farm which was to utilise 8 off BBT's from the Park Royal Site.

The control of the new plant was to be integrated into the new Software Control System recently commissioned by ABM.

  • Design of the New Tank Farm and associated equipment
  • Uplift, Transportation and Installation of 8 off BBT's ex Park Royal
  • Electrical Panel, Field Wiring Design and Installation
  • Mechanical Design and Installation for all Process and Services Plant
  • Development of new PLC/Scada Software to control the new plant
  • Full Operator Training
  • Commissioning in conjunction with KHS (Keg Racker Supplier) of the new plant

This plant was brought on stream 4 weeks ahead of schedule whilst meeting all of the necessary Process and CIP Requirements as detailed by Diageo at the onset of the project.
