ABM completed a Full Control System upgrade from an obsolete Stonefield Microprocessor and Hard Wired Mimic based system to a new Siemens S7/In-Touch Scada/Management Information System.

This upgrade involved the following

• New Panel Design and Installation
• New Solenoids throughout
• Changeover of approx 3000 I/O
• Full Operator Training prior to changeover
• Full I/O Checking on completion
• Plant Commissioning
• Management Information System Commissioning

This system changeover was carried out over the Christmas/New Year plant shut down, with no loss of production.
